  5. Where are the libtard judges that want to make Hawaii a libtard sanctuary? Where are they? The saviors of the radical far left? Probably bailed out long ago back to safety leaving their minions behind just like a coward libtard would do.

  9. What terrible reporting. The title says 2000 people may be trapped if lava crosses nearby road but there are actually two other ways out from down there. Government road to Hawaiian Beaches or Red Road to Kalapana. The boulders they make drama of would only be within yards of the actual crater. Gas is not a huge problem unless you walk into it. Typical over sensationalizing from the media.

  10. Not able to use heavy equipment to dig a large trench to the ocean? I don't know if it would work to channel the lava or not but I'd be thinking about trying, and using the water techniques that the people in Iceland used successfully.

  18. This is terrible reporting, sensationalist rubbish. There are other ways out of there, people do have access to other roads. No one has died (thankfully) and these fissures are part of life on that island. The volcano has been active for decades. Yes, an eruption sending debris into the atmosphere is a concern, but the fake breathless panic and desperation is over the top. CBS, why don't you take some lessons from REAL reporters in Europe and stop acting like glorified tabloid hacks?
